In order to create the winter boost to the event we need to renew the membership in February.

To promote this we started promoting Flywheelers at SCC 2022, and sold half year memberships, where you got the discounts and the T-shirt & sticker.

Since you were already at SCC when you bought the membership there no point in giving free access at SCC 2022.

Everyone in the SCC shop and other officials knew and promoted that renewal was in February, and that after paying it you would get the 2023 benefits, including SCC 2023 entrance.

By promoting Flywheelers 2023 at SCC 2022 we may have confused some people, we understand that.

When February came the web solution was not ready to send out renewal emails. And there was much discussions about how such solutions should work. And in the end it all took months to get it where we are now. So, the renewal email that should have been with you in February came in June!

Now we are so close to the event that we can't allow anyone new to enter the Flywheeler club.

The point of Flywheelers is to share the risk of hosting a event & to reward those that do join Flywheelers. It's a classical give and take.

Your effort in February is rewarded with free entrance in August. The web mess prohibited this for 2023, but all those who became members in 2022 can still renew and get the free entrance.
